Hola a todos! Es un enorme placer para nosotros anunciaros que Antony Ellis es el nuevo cantante de REGRESION.

Ant es un cantante inglés procedente de Wigan, una pequeña localidad a medio camino entre Manchester y Liverpool, y algunos de vosotros lo recordareis por su trabajo en su anterior banda, Bigfoot. Pese a ser bastante joven, Ant tiene una gran experiencia tanto en estudio como en directo, donde ha podido mostrar su valía girando por Europa con sus antiguos compañeros.

Cuando Pedro nos comunicó su decisión de dejar la banda, el resto del grupo decidimos continuar sin dudar un instante. 

Aún tenemos gasolina para seguir adelante y también sabemos que, después de 18 años y 5 discos a nuestras espaldas, este es el mejor momento para dar una vuelta de tuerca a nuestra música y realizar algunos cambios que aporten nuevas ilusiones y renovadas energías. Escribir música en inglés era una idea que llevábamos bastante tiempo sopesando y creemos que Ant es, sin lugar a dudas, la mejor elección posible para llevar a cabo tan ambicioso proyecto.

Hemos tenido la ocasión de ensayar con Ant y probar algunas canciones en inglés... Os podemos asegurar que quedan espectaculares! Estamos deseando entrar al estudio para trabajar en nuestro nuevo material y presentarlo en directo con esta nueva formación... Ant ha venido para quedarse y esperamos que le deis una enorme bienvenida!

ANTONY ELLIS (EX – BIGFOOT) JOINS SPANISH HARD ROCKERS REGRESION

British Singer Antony Ellis has joined with the Spanish hard rockers RegresioN.

After 18 years and 5 studio albums, the band face a new era with one of the most talented singers and greatest frontman of the last few years.

In the bands words:
“When our singer Peter decided to leave the band after 18 years, the first thing that came to our minds was that we needed to make a change, an important change. Writing songs in English instead of Spanish was something that we had been thinking about for some time and we thought it was the right moment to do it, but we needed the right person. We saw Antony with Bigfoot opening for Eclipse in Barcelona and we really liked him, when we found out the news of Ant moving on from Bigfoot, it was clear that we had to contact him and see if he would like to be a part of the band”

The band have started working on new songs that will be relased in the second quarter of 2019.
